On the night of April, 14th. 1912 the "unsinkable" RMS Titanic hit an iceberg and collapsed in the middle of the Ocean leaving more than 1,500 dead bodies in the freezing waters... One hundred years later, people continue talking, wrting, filming... about this tragedy. And you, What do you know about the Titanic? Think for a few minutes, check your ideas with a classmate and then write them down in your notebook before telling the class and write them on this OPEN DOC. Use the following questions to help you: - How was the Titanic different from other ships? - Who was travelling on the ship? - Why did the Titanic sink? - Why weren't more people rescued? - ... Don't worry if you don't know much about this topic. In the following classes we will try to find the answer to these and many other questions which might appear during our research.
